All tickets will be sold at par.  This is a savings of up to $2 off the gate prices. 

Just take the QEW to Fort Erie/Buffalo - Exit Duty Free Way to Peace Bridge Duty Free.  They have direct routing to the I-90 North and South, which is on route to the Fair for our Canadian friends.

Has anyone seen the concert line up for this year’s Americas Fair??? It is AMAZING!!! I went to the Jam in the Valley this past weekend  and seen the posters, this year they have VANESSA HUDGENS with Rooney on August 9, TED NUGENT with Gregg Rolie who was Santana’s lead singer, on August 11 they have TAYLOR SWIFT with James Otto, August 12 they have HEAVEN & HELL with Motorhead and Testament, and August 14 will be MERLE HAGGARD with Phil Vassar! They also have 2 free shows this year with The Spinners & 1964 The Tribute! How Amazing is that??? I’m so pumped for this line up!

Vanessa Hudgens. Of course I was listening to one of her songs from her new album “Identified” and started searching the internet to see what concerts she had lined up. I could not even believe that she was coming to America’s Fair!! I already planned on making a day at the fair…eating delicious food, going on a few rides and of course watching the hypnotist (maybe even being hypnotized)! But, now one of my favorite artists will be performing. Of course the fact that Rooney is opening for her is just a bonus. I freaked out because I figured it was going to sell out soon so I ran out and got my tickets! Anyone want to join??!

 We are now accepting appications for the Erie County Agricultural Society Scholarship.  We are looking for high school seniors as well as freshman, sophomore or juniors enrolled in an accredited college pursuing studies in any, but not limited to the following fields…

  • Business/Liberal Arts
  • Ecology & Environmental Technology
  • Family & Consumer Sciences
  • Flora-Culture
  • Home Economics/Industrial Arts
  • Horticulture
  • Forestry & Natural Resources
  • Veterinary Medicine
  • Veterinary Technology
  • Applications are available in the Guidance Office of all area high schools, at various college Financial Aid offices, by clicking here and also at the Cornell University Cooperative Extension 4-H Office located at 21 South Griove Street in East Aurora, NY. We welcome your questions and your application!  Hurry the deadline for applications is this Saturday, (April 19, 2008).
